Celano Family

Look out ladies these two boys are gonna have all the girls in a few years... maybe DOm... already does. I think I started liking boys in about 5th grade... Anyways I was nervous about rain and scared the sun would set before Paul made it to the shoot/ However EVERYTHING came together and it was fun to catch up with your entire family. I've missed seeing you. Thanks for this opportunity.

Woodens in Shady Canyon

This was one that was quickly snapped ... as the sun QUICKLY set behind the hill. Then off to Fashion Island to the tree lighting ceremony. That was a fun evening thanks for letting me tag along.

Graham Family

We were trying to get ALL the Graham grandkids. We tried all the tricks... ball, candy, cookies... then Elmo....I think we got ONE decent photo with everyone in it including the youngest Graham, Gabriella (age 1 and a half) Susan thanks for inviting me to photographic your LOVELY family. I felt like apart of the family. The backyard is AMAZINGLY gorgeous. Can't wait to share the rest of the photos with you and your family:)

Me trying to photograph my own kiddos

So you would think that I would have the PERFECT photos of my own kids right? All my Christmas cards addressed and ready to be sent out. Well that is definitely not the case. As you can see.. my 2 year old is definitely in the "uncooperative: stage. It's probably because I tortured her WAY TOO MUCH when she was younger:) Here are a few fun ones:)

Springer Family

This family was too cute. What a beautiful spot that they picked. The lake, the mountains, the grass. It was all GREAT! I especially liked getting to know their 2 girls and chasing them around. Mr. and Mrs. Springer have great taste in names especially Payton. (That's because my daughter is also named Peyton) The green looks so vibrant I really love it. Hope these make some GREAT Christmas cards Jodi. Can't wait to see what you come up with:)

American Music Awards (AMA's)

Where do I begin. Only with OMG (OH MY GOD) And Thank-you Torie... Thnak-you Torie....Ring! Ring! late Saturday night... my teaching friend Kristin calls me to let me know she has an extra ticket to be a "seatfiller" at the AMA'S. I say "sure!" Why not? When we arrive up in LA at 1:00 the 3 girls I ride with check in and then the lady in charge procedes to tell me that they "do NOT" have an extra wristband for me. So sorry ! So I bid farewell to my friends... I contemplate do I cry... do I call my husband for a ride.. or what.. Well not to make the story too long because I want to get to the Celebrity part... 2 hours later... My hero Torie worked her magic and got a lady named Dani to come running out of the Nokia Center saying " where is jessica? I have one final wristband for her:)" Torie I am in depted to you for lfe:)

So in I went and the job was to fill the seats of the celebs in rows 1, 2 and 3. The first half and hour I could hardly speak... I was in TOTAL SHOCK. It was such a surreal feeling to be there last night. So my first seat assignment was row 3. I turn to my left... 5 feet away is Chris Brown, Rihanna, and Alicia Keys. (Rihanna is the MOST beautiful woman) OMG Then behind them was Little John? Behind them was Montley Crue.. Vince Neil and his wife etc.... Pussy Cat dolls, Beyonce, Queen Latiffa. Then right in front of me.. Some regular guys kind of English looking. I knew my seat was too good to be true... A man approaches me and says "excuse may I have your seat' I get up and move to the next open seat. The body guard of Chris Martin from Cold Play grabs me and says that seats for Chris not you:) The rest of the night I sat in row 10. I liked my spot and had gotten my STAR fix for the evening. I didn't want to keep forfeiting my seat so I stayed put in row 10. This was a out of body experience and an opportunity of a lifetime.

My favorite performances: Beyonce (by far) Cristina Aguilera, Taylor Swift, Pink and Annie on the piano and Natasha Beddingfield's dress was my favorite.

Team Dragonflies Girls 6 Soccer Season is coming to a close

It has been a great season I think for the girls and the parents. I am so proud of my daughter Reese's progress on the field. She is more aggressive and is actually in the early stages of passing the ball. Mommy is so proud of you and I loved taking all the dragonflies pictures this year

Vickers Family

Another great day at Crystal Cove. I had a chance to photograph an old friend from junior high and his 3 beautiful girls. He is an amazing father who is devoting all his time and energy to his precious little girls. I had a small glimpse in to the life of the Vickers girls and what it is like to have 3 girls. Its great . In every house hold of girls I am sure that there is drama, tears, and most of all laughter. Being a parent is the greatest gift on earth. I am so fortunate to be given this wonderful gift of photography! Thanks Shad for letting photograph your family! And also thanks Natalie for all your photography wisdom. I value your opinions:)
