Welcome Baby Asher

I was privileged enough to help and photograph with my dear friend Julie Weaver @ www.julieweaverphotography.com
Our shoot today was of this darling baby boy "Asher." Ahhhh! Babies are soooo sweet and innocent. It was precious watching him maneuver in the swing and in the wood bowl. Mommy Missy was a trooper too for letting Julie and I take over or should I say work over her new bundle of joy.

a few more rodeo

Backyard rodeo on a summer night

I love that I have girls and one of the things I love most about them is their ability to be creative. They come up with the funniest scenarios for dress up and tonight it was a rodeo. Reese wanted to be called Sofi sister of Daisy...she had a horse and was attending horse camp at the Bodas Ranch... Peyton liked taking rides in her covered wagon (see photos)They have such imaginations...I love summer! All play and NO WORK for 8 more weeks! Teachers live for summer.

4th of July 2009

Every 4th of July my Block and friends of my neighbors all come together for a 4th of July celebration. We are very fortunate to be one of the only 5 cities in the OC that still allows fireworks legally. We had it all... bounce houses for the kids, BYOB for the adults, games for the kids, ( egg on a spoon, tricycle races, balloon toss), live band for adults with tunes from Michael Jackson, and potluck style food. The grand finale was a firework display not only on our street but on all the surrounding blocks. I think fireworks were going off til 3 am. Our Block party is just as I remember as a kid. A day where families come together and celebrate. My favorite moment was when my oldest daughter Reese took over the microphone and sang God Bless America and I kissed a Girl... I am so proud to be an American!
