Boat Racing at Puddingstone Lake in San Dimas

My girls spent the day @ Disneyland and I spent a day with my family. Chad, the older of my 2 brothers is heavily involved in boat racing . Anyone who knows my family... The Hill Family( my maiden name) ...knows that boat racing has been apart of my life since the day I was born and even before that. It was a great venue. So many participants. Great event to bring my family together. The younger handsome looking kid is my youngest brother Broc. Though his struggles with sobriety are on my mind daily... it was great to have him back with the family this past weekend.

Crazy Hair Day

These boys are as close as I am going to get to have sons.. I think.....Aren't they adorable?

Go Aztecs! There's no crying in baseball

I have yet to give birth to a son so this is the next best thing. Baseball!!!! No softball for this girl. Our daughter has opted out of softball and is playing in the all BOYS league. She has a great hit and is aggressive on the field. I'd love to post more photos of my other daughter too but she ABSOLUTELY HATEs the camera now. All that torturing her when she was younger.I was able to snap just one of our youngest today.

jog-a-thon 2009

I was feeling a tad bit sick today and decided to take the day off from work. Cough! cough! And I am so glad I did. I am so proud of my daughter and her many accomplishments at sucha young age. She got 19 people to pledge her run today. She gets her sales and negotiating from dad. All the kids were having sooo much fun! I think the adults did too. Being off today just makes me appreciate staying at home. I just wish I could do it EVERYDAY! Reese I am so proud of you. She ran 35 laps in 30 minutes. Her dad's gonna owe BIG time at 5$ a lap! Yikes! Can't wai ttill summer!

Ski Week

My friends I laugh about the term.... ski week.... Only in Newport Mesa. Ha ha ha! As parents, we felt the pressure to take the kids skiing on ski week. ...jokingly!!!! Me being a teacher in Tustin.. I said What the %^&*$@? I don't get "ski week off. However at the end of the school year I'll be happy when I am out of school 1 week earlier then NMUSD. Anyways...so glad I took advantage of my daughters week off. We had the time of our lives. My husband and I snowboardedwhile our oldest little Miss Reese skiied with us. No more ski school for her all those private lessons paid off this year. Mammoth was GREAT! No lines... perfect snow wow!! I really appreciate trips like this... I grew up waterskiing and I am so glad to pass snowskiing onto my kids. They've got it pretty good. River, Mammoth, El Capitain... what other traditions are they going to have?
